The heat is on for May Astrology with the life changing Uranus Pluto square once again coming to an intense placement.

The Uranus Pluto square is exact this month on May 20, just 4 days before the Sagittarius eclipsed Full Moon.  Uranus Pluto square is a topic
we have discussed in great detail in previous updates. This is the fourth of eight squares, which began the summer of 2011. There will be another square on November 1, two more in 2014, and one in 2015. This global wide life changing cycle is far from over.

Uranus and Pluto were conjoined or in close association in the sky story between 1965 and 1968.  That was a period of intense, radical change in the consciousness on broad social and political levels. Now, these 2 transpersonal archetypes square off again at a ninety degree angle, a shape that literally implies "turning a corner". This is the opening square following the mid-60 conjunction. May is the month for the Zodiac signs of Taurus and Gemini. In 2013, May begins with 4 planets in Taurus and ends with four planets in Gemini. There are two eclipses this month, beautiful pairings of planets, plus on May 20 and 21 is the exact epic cycle of Uranus Pluto Square. Sun and Mars together in Taurus provides fuel for motivation and achievement through mid May. On May 9th Moon meets Mercury and Mars just before conjoining the Sun at the Taurus New Moon.

It's been quite a month. The building surge of Aries mojo in late March strongly indicated life would be intense come April. Seems the Universe did not let us down. Abundant Aries aggression and assertiveness in the field does not make for a calm, flowing cycle even in the best of circumstances.

Energy flows in and out of our lives in many forms. Usually, this life force is associated with electricity. Yet, our emotional state also carries quite a bit of zing. Its oft heard "energy in motion" label reflects the energetic quality of this moving, yet unseen river of amped animation.

Well we're finally on the other side of 12/21/12. While the jury is out about the long term effects and influences of the Mayan Calendar's shift from one energy form into another, 12/21 has brought together many people to celebrate our place in this moment of time, as well as bringing focus and direction for creating a healthier, inter-dependant world society.
